Application of Draw Wire Sensor in Universal Testing Machine
Draw wire sensor is widely used in hydraulic universal testing machine. Its main function is to measure the cylinder stroke of the testing machine, and send it to the controller by pulse signal during the test, so as to obtain the elongation of the tested material. If traditional scale or manual measurement is used, it will not only be inefficient, but also fail to achieve the measured test accuracy. However, the pulling rope displacement sensor has the characteristics of high accuracy of 0.01%, fast response speed, low cost and convenient installation. Compared with grating ruler and other products, it not only improves the displacement accuracy of testing machine, but also reduces the cost of the whole machine.
Pulling rope displacement sensor is applied to universal testing machine, which is mainly used for displacement measurement and feedback of hydraulic cylinder/cylinder in servo system, realizing closed-loop control function of test force, piston displacement of cylinder and deformation of test sample. The design of PC display and centralized control can realize the processing and digital display of test force, cylinder displacement, loading rate, test data and various test curves, which has high operability and scientific research value.
Compared with other types of displacement sensors, the main features of the cable displacement sensor are as follows:
1. The sensor has small volume and various models, and is especially suitable for universal testing machine with high integration and strict installation size;
2. The travel of the pull rope displacement sensor is long. The pull rope displacement sensor can be in any range within 100 meters, which is convenient for users to install in any range;
3. Wide power supply voltage. The cable displacement sensor is usually powered by 5V, 10V and 24V DC voltage, and outputs standard voltage signal, current signal or pulse signal to facilitate the acquisition and operation of the control system.
4. The cable displacement sensor has high measurement accuracy and convenient installation and use. The linear accuracy of the pull rope displacement sensor can reach up to 0.05%. Compared with other types of displacement sensors, the cable displacement sensor can be used for measuring the atypical linear motion of the rope, and the moving direction of the rope can be freely changed, and it only needs to be arranged with pulleys for installation.
