Four-column hydraulic presses and servo hydraulic presses are widely used in forging, stamping and composite material forming. The positioning accuracy of the slide block directly determines the yield of finished products. Traditional limit switches only support point position control and cannot collect continuous displacement data. Magnetostrictive sensors require built-in cylinder installation with complicated modification, while grating scales are vulnerable to oil pollution and vibration. The SOP rope displacement sensor adopts an aluminum alloy housing with IP54 / IP65 protection grade. It resists oil mist and dust in hydraulic workshops. Its operating temperature ranges from -40℃ to +80℃, and the maximum working speed reaches 3m/s, matching the fast lifting movement of hydraulic slides. The measuring stroke can be customized from 10 mm to 60000 mm, with linear accuracy up to 0.05%, meeting high-precision stroke detection requirements for various tonnage hydraulic presses.

Rope Displacement Sensor

The sensor is mounted on the press frame, and the rope end connects to the slide block. The expansion and contraction of the steel wire rope synchronously capture the position and speed of the slide. It supports multiple output signals: resistance, 0-10V, 4-20mA, pulse, RS485 and more, directly connecting to PLC and hydraulic servo control systems. It precisely controls the whole workflow including fast advance, working feed, pressure holding and return stroke to avoid uneven thickness and forming defects of workpieces.

It allows ±3° installation deviation, with transverse deviation no more than 35 mm per 1000 mm. Flexible external installation avoids cylinder reconstruction and simplifies commissioning. Featuring high stability, the service life can reach 2 million times to guarantee stable long-term signal output.

Real-time displacement data enables dynamic adjustment of pressure and flow by hydraulic proportional valves to realize precise closed-loop control. It also supports over-travel alarm and process data recording for equipment maintenance and technical traceability.
