The pressure sensor converts the pressure (generally refers to the pressure of liquid or gas) into an electrical signal output, and the pressure electrical signal can also be used to measure the liquid level of the static fluid, so it can be used to measure the liquid level.

The sensitive components of the pressure sensor are mainly composed of silicon cup sensitive element, silicone oil, isolation diaphragm and air guide tube. The pressure P of the measured medium is transmitted to one side of the silicon cup element through the isolation diaphragm and silicone oil (see figure), and the atmospheric reference pressure po It acts on the other side of the silicon cup element through the air duct. The silicon cup element is a cup-shaped single crystal silicon wafer with a thin bottom. Under the action of pressure P and Po, the diaphragm at the bottom of the cup produces elastic deformation with minimal displacement. Single crystal silicon is an ideal elastic body, its deformation is strictly proportional to the pressure, and its recovery performance is excellent.

The four bridge resistors formed by the semiconductor diffusion process on the silicon diaphragm are arranged in a square shape. When the silicon diaphragm is deformed under pressure, the two resistors on the diagonal are subjected to compressive stress, while the other two resistors are subjected to tensile stress. , due to the piezoresistive effect of diffused silicon, the resistance of the two relative resistors increases, and the resistance of the other two resistors decreases. If a voltage is applied to the two terminals of A-A, there will be a voltage signal output proportional to the P-Po differential pressure between C-D.
